Updated Sept 27, 2011 Whistler/Squamish Area Lakes: Lakes are cooling off now and fall fishing is in effect. Enjoy some of the best cutthroat and trout fishing to be had on Whistler and Squamish lakes. Leeches and fall caddis patterns are good choices. Rivers: All are blown and flowing high due to recent rains. Expect coho and chum to be entering the rivers on this high water. Salmon fishing will pick up immediately following the heavy rains.
